About Us
We are bible believing New Testament Christians, doing what the New Testament tells us to do.
Acts 20:7 And upon the first day of the week, when the disciples came together to break bread, Paul preached unto them, ready to depart on the morrow; and continued his speech until midnight.
I Corinthians 10:16: The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, is it not the communion of the body of Christ?
I Corinthians 10:17: For we being many are one bread, and one body: for we are all partakers of that one bread.
Heb 10:25: Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together , as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more , as ye see the day approaching .
We meet on Sunday to study God’s word, to worship, and to remember Jesus Christ’s sacrifice by communing with Him.
Matt 26:30 And when they had sung an hymn, they went out into the mount of Olives.
Eph 5:19 Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;
Eph 5:20 Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;
Col 3:16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
We don’t have music, a piano, or other instruments. There’s no evidence those were used in the New Testament. Instead, we sing hymns from the heart to the Lord.
Ephesians 2:10:
For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
